60 Second Theater: Elektra

Today's Presentation: Elektra

I only ask that if you replay it in public (radio, podcast, etc.) that you properly credit me. Please feel free to direct people to this website (60 Second Theater) or to one of the other 2 mirror sites (Mr. Me's Emporium, or Sixty Second Theater). I would also appreciate a little "tip" in my digital tip jar.

I would like to officially thank LightningMP3.com for hosting the MP3 file. They are by far the most awesome host (free and no linking restrictions!). If you have a need for an MP3 host, I ask you to consider them.

Also, if you are interested in getting my podcast you can pickup the RSS feed here. If you are only interested in my 60 Second Theater clips, you can subscribe to this feed.

Thank you and enjoy!

PS - I am taking requests for my next production, almost anything is in the realm of possibility (with the exception of horror and foreign, I just don't do those). Please e-mail me your suggestions.

60 Second Theater

Welcome to my rendition of the popular 60 Second Theater spots. Anyone who has heard those Hollywood Video radio advertisements knows exactly what I am talking about. For all of you that don't, it was a clever advertising campaign (created by Cliff Freeman & Partners) to help boost Hollywood Video's popularity. Essentially, they tried to fit a 2 hour hollywood production into 60 seconds (the length of a typical radio ad). Unfortunatly they were always unsuccessful in doing so - which promped you to rent the video at Hollywood Video.

Disclaimer: The content available on this site is completely free, I am not charging a cent to get my homemade knock-offs. I do ask that if you like what I am doing that you hit the tip jar (use Paypal to send me a 'thank you' gift). As far as I know either nobody or Hollywood Video owns the rights to the phrase "Sixty Second Theater". I wrote them an e-mail on 03-09-05 requesting to use the phrase in this context and have yet to receive a response. (UPDATE: I receieved a generic response and a new address to send my request to, I sent the same letter to them on 03-25-05). If I do receive a response that does not condone the use of that phrase I will re-record any or all of the recordings to reflect another catch phrase.

Thank you for your interest,
